Venue

When: 11.00am, Saturday 3rd November 2012. The Hall will be open from 9.30am for registration and to collect your race numbers.
Where: Dumyat Centre, Main Street East, Menstrie, FK11 7BA. The race will start on the village green diagonally across the road from the Centre.
Entry: Entry will be £5 and all runners will receive a complementary £5 Sweatshop voucher.
Parking: There is plenty of on-street parking within the surrounding vicinity of the Centre.

Race route

The course is approximately 9km with 600m of ascent covering terrain on the north-eastern slopes of Dumyat and the Menstrie Glen.

- First three Male Veteran 40 - 49 yrs

- 1st Female Veteran 60 + yrs

PLEASE NOTE THAT FULL WINDPROOF BODY COVER MAY BE REQUIRED TO BE CARRIED OR WORN BY ALL COMPETITORS DEPENDING ON THE WEATHER CONDITIONS SO COME PREPARED. Fell shoes are also strongly recommended due to ground conditions. There will be a race briefing on the start line just prior to the 11.00am start.The race will be well marshalled at key junctions and we will be operating a last runner sweeper. Scottish Hill Runners rules apply.
After the race there will be free tea, coffee and biscuits in the Dumyat Centre together with the results and prize giving.
